The event is free of charge and open to the public – Visitors are encouraged to tour the open-houses and will learn how to implement new cost efficient and energy saving features into their own homes. 20 University teams, from all parts of the world, spend over 2 years preparing for this event, and are judged in 10 individual contests; including: affordability, attractiveness, creating a healthy environment, adequate energy produced for appliances and hot water, and more!
